Scotland Bike Trip

One of the last places we traveled to before moving back to England was Scotland. This was an amazing trip that we wished we would have done earlier and more often. Scotland was beautiful. We rode the motorcycle there and let me tell you I believe that was the best way to see the Highlands and just feel like you were a part of the country side. While we were there we did a lot of driving around and taking it in but we did do a little touring of some sites. We toured the Glenlivet and the Ben Nevis distillery's, Loch Ness (home of the Loch Ness Monster), and we climbed Ben Nevis- Scotland's highest mountain 1344 meters/ 4,409 ft. We saw a lot of places and would really like to go back one day and see more. God blessed us with beautiful weather the whole time we were there as we weren't completely equipped with rain/cold weather gear. :)

On our hike up Ben Nevis
this is for Owen's mom- your rock wall
Part of the hike
More scenery from the hike
A small lake on our way up
Getting closer to the top.
This was in June and there was still a bit of snow.
Views from the top
Finally at the top
It was a bit windy and really cold
A random bridge we saw.
The Loch Ness Museum
Loch Ness
A scotch/whiskey Distillery we toured
Place where it cooks to perfection
Where they store it for years they sell nothing less than 12 years old.
