Wow I am really getting bad at this!!!

So let me catch everyone up to speed. We have moved back to the states and are currently living in Spokane, WA. We moved back August 12, spent a week at home and then arrived in Spokane. It has been great being back in the states but let me tell you it has been an adjustment. After being gone for 3 years we would have never thought we would forget what it was like living here and how convenient things were. It has been good and bad. Well let me say first we arrived here and spent 2 weeks looking for a house and with the help of our amazing realtor we bought our first home. It is a great home and in a fantastic neighborhood. We are still unpacking and trying to get settled in. We have a lot of decorating to do and a yard to get plants into. We are settling into the area well and really like it here. It is a pretty gorgeous area. We live up on a hill and have a pretty view of the city and surrounding area. I will be taking visitors anytime as Owen is set to depart us in about a week and half. He will be out doing what he does best. Please pray for him and for me as this will only be our 2nd deployment (Mildenhall was really great to us for some reason). We are ready but not looking forward to being apart for the first time over the holidays. I plan on coming home and spending time with family since it will have been 3 years since we have been home for the holidays.

We haven't done too much site seeing yet since we have only been in our home for about 3 weeks. We did though make it to Del Rio, TX to celebrate Arlen's (Owen's younger brother) graduation from pilot training. He will be flying the F-15E's out of Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. We are pretty proud of him and can't wait to see what the Air Force has in store for him. Owen was given the honor of pinning on his wings. It was a great weekend and we are excited to have Arlen as part of our military family.

Below are a few pictures (sorry they aren't the best) of our new home. I guess if you want to know what it really looks like you will just have to come and visit soon.

The front of our home and Owen's pickup
Front porch looking out down the street
From the hill in our back yard looking at the house
Our back yard with 2 retaining walls and a shelf to plant my flowers and veggie garden
This is looking at the living room, dining room/kitchen from the front door. The cool thing is we have 20+ft tall ceilings but that means many stairs.
Looking the living room from the front door and the window is looking out the back yard.
From the kitchen looking into the living room. Front door is to the left and back door on the right.
Looking at the dining room/kitchen from the living room.
It has hardwood floors and granite counter tops that I truly love.
Looking at the powder room and door to the garage from the kitchen
Going upstairs are the bedrooms.
The master bedroom which also has 15ft ceilings.
A really nice big walk in closet off the master bath
Our own sinks and we also have our own shower heads and a private toilet for the master bath.
This is looking at the sinks from the closet, bedroom is on the left and shower on the right. The door in the picture goes to the toilet.
Still up stairs looking at the guest bedroom on the left, office in the middle and laundry room on the right from the master bedroom. There is a guest bathroom to the left.
We have a 3 car garage. Really a 2 car and Owen's workshop.
