Ely Cathedral
This is a cathedral about 20min from us. It is very large. We only have pictures of the outside because we forgot our camera when we first came to visit it. So we will have to go back and get inside pictures. It is a beautiful cathedral. With lots of unique designs that were all carved by hand. The cathedral was built around 1109 with lots of restorations done to it since then. Whenever we go back and take more pictures I will post some interior ones.

Thanks for the local tour! It never ceases to amaze me as to how OLD things are in other countries. Here, it seems like things get destroyed after a good 20-50 years and our "old" buildings are not much older than a couple hundred years. It makes for a unique insight into history when you can visit places such as these.
